The primary purpose of the Business Operations Coordinator (AS2) is to provide essential technical, analytical, and administrative support under general supervision.

This position supports the Office of Business Operations (OBO) and the Office of Health Policy (HP) in advancing the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) by researching and analyzing operational and administrative issues, collecting and evaluating program and process data, and supporting workflow improvements and compliance activities, including developing and maintaining technical tools such as Smartsheet trackers.

The position also provides administrative support to committees and work groups and independently interprets and applies applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures, including Oregon Public Meeting Laws. The role assesses procedural risks, recommends corrective actions, and provides guidance to staff to ensure meetings, documentation, and operational processes comply with statutory and policy requirements and support effective program operations.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.

Three years of administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis; OR

An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis; OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience.
