Position Summary

Blue Ops is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Business Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day business operations of our Valdosta manufacturing facility. This role serves as the operational hub of the site, ensuring the efficient execution of administrative functions, facility operations, cross-functional coordination, and business processes that support manufacturing and organizational objectives.

The Business Operations Manager exercises sound judgment and independent decision-making to oversee office operations, coordinate operational priorities, implement process improvements, and support site leadership. Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Corporate Business Operations, this position ensures the Valdosta facility operates efficiently while remaining aligned with company policies, operational standards, and strategic initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day business operations of the Valdosta manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient execution of administrative, operational, and business support functions.
  • Serve as the primary on-site business operations resource, supporting facility leadership and acting as the liaison between the Valdosta facility and Corporate Business Operations.
  • Execute company policies, operational initiatives, and standardized business processes established by Blue Ops leadership.
  • Manage office administration, office services, supplies, equipment, and office facility-related purchasing to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Coordinate administrative support for Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology while ensuring effective communication across departments.
  • Support implementation and adoption of business systems, operational tools, and company processes, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Coordinate facility logistics, including executive visits, customer meetings, employee events, and company functions.
  • Manage operational projects and administrative initiatives, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and priorities are met.
  • Monitor day-to-day operational activities, identify process improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency, organization, and employee experience.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), documentation, operational records, and administrative processes that support business continuity.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, operational summaries, and business metrics for site leadership and Corporate Business Operations.
  • Assist with facility readiness, office organization, space planning, and overall presentation of the Valdosta location.
  • Exercise sound judgment when resolving routine operational issues, escalating significant matters to leadership as appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive company, employee, financial, and customer information.
  • Foster a professional, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment that reflects Blue Ops' culture and operational standards.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, operations management, office management, or administrative leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business operations within a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or technology environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced organization.
  • Experience developing and improving business processes and operational procedures.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing vendors, facilities, budgets, and administrative operations.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment independently.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and business process improvement.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
Required Qualifications

  • Ability to walk, stand, navigate large indoor/outdoor facilities for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment up to 25 lbs regularly
  • May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections or maintenance
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by facility safety protocols
  • Must successfully complete a post-offer background check
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and not require sponsorship for export-restricted work
