Vontive is a venture-backed fintech lender transforming one of the largest and most outdated markets in financial services. We’re looking for a Business Operations Associate to support the company's growth — running the infrastructure, processes, and support systems that allow every other team to operate at maximum velocity.
You are the kind of person who:
- Hates inefficiency and can’t walk past a broken process without fixing it.
- Keeps 10 spinning plates in the air and still remembers to reorder printer toner.
- Doesn’t ask “Is this my job?”—you ask “How can I help?”
- Doesn’t need hand-holding, reminders, or micromanagement. You own your work like it’s your business.
The portfolio of responsibilities will span many functions and include:
- HR - coordinating new hire onboarding, maintaining our critical company policies.
- IT - administering our SAAS services (account provisioning / deprovisioning), managing those vendor relationships.
- Special projects - e.g. opening/closing offices, supporting due diligence requests from financing counterparties, participating in other strategic company decisions especially where research is needed to support the decision.
This position will work closely with company leadership and will expose you to the inner workings of a successful software startup. We are looking for someone with demonstrated excellence in a prior business or academic context with the right combination of resourcefulness, team orientation, and enthusiasm to jump into this high impact position. High achieving new graduates as well as those with industry experience are welcome to apply for this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (please provide GPA)
- Strong work ethic and the maturity to handle sensitive employee, legal, and compliance issues
- Excellent organizational skills
- Fluency with technology
- Clear communicator. Able to say “I don’t know” and go find the answer
