As a Business Operations Associate in the Business Operations team, you will be responsible understand, analyse and develop recommendations related to the various operational, regulatory and reputational risks that exist within the Global Corporate Banking. You will support a global team on a variety of risk management topics impacting the business. Your projects will involve interacting heavily with GCB Business Operations team members, banking teams, subject matter experts and functional control partners. Your deliverables will be non-routine, complex, unmapped and offer the ability to approach solutions in a creative manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to independently work, support fast-paced projects, and creatively and pragmatically solve problems
- Conduct end-to-end project management of scoping a project, developing a project execution plan, troubleshooting/escalating issues, and ensuring timely project completion
- Facilitate interaction and strong connectivity across the GCB Business Operations team, sub-lines of businesses and functional partners, and centralized governance teams
- Build and maintain relationships with banking teams, credit teams, and key partners across the business and supporting functions (e.g., Legal Finance, Compliance, Risk) and geographies
- Perform data analysis to support and drive key initiatives and projects as assigned
- Prepare and deliver presentation materials to be shared with senior management and other relevant stakeholders
- Identify and escalate operational issues, recommend solutions, and ensure changes are implemented
