The Sr Business Systems Analyst provides consulting and implementation service including requirements gathering, analysis, solution development, knowledge transfer and project closeout; assists all internal teams with relevant activities and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Engages in a role for the Commercial Success team that directly supports IDeaS' business operations while also providing enhanced direction to the Sales team in the lead-to-cash process. Responsible for being the "voice of the New Sales team" regarding Salesforce enhancements. Provide Sales the flexibility to quote more efficiently and operate in new market verticals. In addition, this role will help Sales resolve complicated and unnecessary processes to streamline the buying experience for our prospects and clients.
What you'll be doing...

  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the Chief Sales & Growth Officer
  • Actively engage with the Chief Sales & Growth Officer to understand how their team interacts with and uses Salesforce.
  • Provide Tier II support to the functional business analyst. Will be involved in solving our most complicated Salesforce lead-to-cash problems.
  • Understand the impact of new go-to-market models on the lead-to-cash process.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve the lead-to-cash process.
  • Develop a strategy to implement new market verticals within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to listen to their pain points and develop business requirements to drive Salesforce enhancements.
  • Work with the Salesforce Admin team to ensure business requirements translate into scalable solutions.
  • Responsible for providing the New Sales "go/no-go" vote for our Salesforce Releases that occur eight to ten times a year.
  • Communicate project updates and celebrate wins with the company.
  • Contribute to the design and relevancy of Commercial Success SharePoint site.
  • Develop training material that will help new sales reps onboard more effectively.
  • Build relationships with internal clients that characterize partnership, cooperation, and trust.
  • Understand New User creation process in Salesforce and open new user requests on behalf of New Sales team.
  • Implement a plan for sustained Salesforce License Cleanup by reviewing active/inactive users, permission sets, un-used applications.
  • Ability to interpret and understand Forecasting and Budget models relevant to New Sales.
  • Assist fellow Sr. Business Operations Specialists on their projects as requested.


What you'll bring to us...

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of five years of experience researching, analyzing and/or reporting information related to specific areas of assignment.
  • Five plus years of experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system with an emphasis on the lead-to-cash process.
  • Business analyst experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related applications.

  • Ability to lead project teams and gain consensus by using outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify process gaps and then develop, communicate, and deliver solutions.
  • Understanding of SFDC releases procedures, change management, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure; ability to prioritize projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to travel as, as needed.
