Micron is seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Analyst to work within the Technology and Product Group (TPG) to lead strategy planning and advance operational excellence initiatives! This role will drive the creation and management of executive dashboards, integrate critical metrics across diverse datasets, and be responsible for performance-to-plan tracking for grant allocations and strategic programs. The analyst will serve as a cross-functional leader, partnering with TPG executives, finance, and program teams to deliver insights that shape business decisions. Responsibilities:  

  • Own the design and implementation of dashboards that consolidate critical information from multiple data sources (e.g., grant tracking, headcount, budget, project milestones)
  • Drive the strategy planning processes by aligning operational metrics with TPG’s long-term goals and business plan
  • Be responsible for performance-to-plan tracking for grant allocations, and budget oversight
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and insights for quarterly and annual business reviews
  • Collaborate with finance and program teams to ensure accurate forecasting and budget alignment
  • Influence cross-functional teams to adopt data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement practices
  • Mentor analysts and contribute to talent development within the TPG Business Operations team

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, data analytics, business intelligence, or strategic planning
  • Knowledge of semiconductor memory in an engineering setting.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation using tools such as Excel and SQL
  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse)
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into actionable analytical solutions
  • Strong understanding of operational KPIs, financial metrics, and performance indicators

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Advanced expertise in Gen AI tools and dashboard development
  • Consistent track record of leading complex data initiatives and mentoring analytics professionals
  • Exceptional storytelling abilities to convey insights and influence decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
