The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for maximizing resources, driving solutions, and enhancing PSECU’s member experience by focusing on the use of systems and automation. This is a self-motivated position that requires an advanced level of knowledge in the areas of finance, money movement, banking, technology, process flow improvement and key performance indicators. The Business Operations Analyst must have a passion to deliver solutions that maximize revenue and reduce expense through process improvement and technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and external vendors to help drive payments and operations automation. This position will be responsible for utilizing query techniques to assist in data gathering for process flow improvement, troubleshooting and business case development. This position should be familiar with project management techniques and can effectively lead groups of employees toward a targeted business objective by sharing their passion for member experience, financial technology, and automation. This position should have a firm understanding of key performance indicators and be able to relate their business automation effort work to key performance indicators. The position is responsible for seeing how payments and operations services interface with the entire credit union, vendors, and competitors to improve automation and member experience.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -4:00pm or 9:00am -5:00pm. This position will be a hybrid model both in person and remote with minimum of onsite expectation of 40% or as needed.

In this position, you will

  • Operational Effectiveness: Collaborate with internal and external key stakeholders to collect, review, and analyze business metrics, processes and suggest enhancements, and solution design for process improvement.
  • Performance Metrics and KPIs: Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to optimize our operational effectiveness using business automation and process improvements.  Assist ATM & Payment Operations management in the development of KPI’s where missing.
  • Third Party Relationship Management: Maintain a partner interest in establishing, guiding, and maintaining partners that are in our members’ best interest while maintaining the most efficient contracts.
  • Project Management: Utilize the EPMO and ASDM processes to create and manage projects and enhancement requests, assisting with requirements, test cases, providing status updates, implementation plans and document process improvements (including time and cost savings).
  • Relationship Management: Interfaces and represents ATM & Payment Operations in a wide variety of internal and external groups. This position requires a high level of collaboration with business units, committees, projects, vendors, external specialists and other credit unions. Develops relationships for sharing information, learning new topics, solutions and aware of industry trends.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership, collaboration, and guidance to key stakeholders for the development and management of solutions and processes in the ATM and payments strategy units.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Associates: Business Administration/Management, Associates: Computer and Information Science, Associates: Finance, Associates (Required), Bachelors: Business Administration/Management, Bachelors: Computer and Information Science, Bachelors: Finance

And a minimum of two years’ experience in technology, business, finance, or other related fields, | Required And one years’ experience in data analysis and development of recommendations for solutions. Skills Required

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Computer and Information Science, or Finance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer and Information Science, or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in technology, business, finance, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in technology, business, finance, or related fields
  • One year experience in data analysis and development of recommendations for solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of finance, money movement, banking, technology, process flow improvement, and KPIs
  • Experience using query techniques for data gathering, troubleshooting, and business case development
  • Familiarity with project management techniques and ability to lead project groups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
