We are looking for a Business Office Manager to join this thriving community.

Business Office Manager

The Business Office Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing the overall accounting and administrative activities in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as directed by the Executive Director.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for localized accounting functions for the community, including Assisted Living resident billing, coding and completing forms necessary for the generation of accounts payable and assignments of all expenses to the proper general ledger and department code numbers.
  • Responsible for assigned Human Resources and Payroll functions - handling new hire paperwork, receiving & sending timecard adjustments, etc. Ensuring all state mandated continuing education is completed.
  • Process all deposits for the communities.
  • Reconcile all vendor account statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments.
  • Prepare all new lease paperwork for Executive Director.
  • Review accounts receivable and participate in the collection efforts for the community, including making phone calls and sending correspondence to residents and responsible parties.
  • Interact with residents and their families, acknowledging concerns and solving problems within the community related to business office matters.

Requirements:

  • College degree in business, management, or related field required
  • At least two years’ experience in payroll, bookkeeping and office management required.
  • Experience with OneSite / Real Page
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficient.
