Responsibilities 

  • Supervision of Business Office Functions
  • Prepare, submit, receive, and verify reports
  • Accounts Receivable and Collections (Insurance billing, Medicaid billing, Medicare billing, private pay billing, and follow up. Computer knowledge and understanding)
  • Monitor accounts receivable and collections
  • Maintain accurate census and payer information
  • Assist residents and families with billing questions and Medicaid processes
  • Work with admissions and leadership to ensure accurate financial records
  • Residents' Rights Functions 

Qualifications

  • LONG TERM CARE (OR MEDICAL OFFICE) EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
  • Skilled nursing facility billing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and government regulators, and work cooperatively with other associates at all levels
