Responsibilities
- Supervision of Business Office Functions
- Prepare, submit, receive, and verify reports
- Accounts Receivable and Collections (Insurance billing, Medicaid billing, Medicare billing, private pay billing, and follow up. Computer knowledge and understanding)
- Monitor accounts receivable and collections
- Maintain accurate census and payer information
- Assist residents and families with billing questions and Medicaid processes
- Work with admissions and leadership to ensure accurate financial records
- Residents' Rights Functions
Qualifications
- LONG TERM CARE (OR MEDICAL OFFICE) EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Skilled nursing facility billing experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and government regulators, and work cooperatively with other associates at all levels
