Job Description

To support our initiatives for further adoption of Philips technology providing Class IA guideline treatment options, we are expanding our International marketing team with a Business Marketing Manager DACH, responsible for the full IGTD product and solutions portfolio.

The Business Marketing Manager is the dedicated field-based marketing owner for the DACH market zone, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This role is accountable for translating international and global marketing strategy into locally relevant market activation, demand generation and adoption across the full IGTD product and solutions portfolio. The individual is expected to operate close to the market, spending significant time in the field with sales teams, customers, clinical partners and regional stakeholders to understand local needs, identify growth opportunities and remove barriers to execution.

The role combines strategic portfolio marketing with hands-on field execution. The Business Marketing Manager will define and drive DACH-specific marketing plans, shape customer engagement programs, support priority account activation, build local proof points and ensure launches, campaigns and market development initiatives are executed with strong local relevance and commercial impact.

As a member of the International Marketing team, you will own specific marketing activities that span the complete international region.

Success in this role requires regular travel and visible presence across the zone. The individual should expect to travel extensively within DACH, approximately 50-60% of time, to engage with customers, KOLs, sales teams, professional societies, congresses, workshops and other in-market activation opportunities.

Your role:

Own the DACH market zone

  • Act as the primary marketing owner for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, accountable for local market planning, activation priorities and execution quality. Be present in the field with sales team, and customers to understand adoption barriers, customer needs, competetive dynamics and local growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with global and international marketing, market intelligence, and sales leadership to prioritise target accounts, market segments, and growth opportunities across the portfolio.

  • Lead specific marketing capabilities internationally, strengthening the broader International marketing organization.

  • Translate strategy into local execution by converting global and international portfolio strategies into DACH-specific messaging, campaigns, engagement formats and sales enablement priorities.

  • Drive demand generation and adoption by leading marketing activities that increase awareness, utilization and customer preference for the full IGTD portfolio.

Partner internally, externally and represent the voice of the market

  • Partner with sales leadership and field teams to prioritize accounts, shape plans, refine messaging and support commercial objectives.

  • Bring structured market insights, customer feedback and competitive intelligence back to the international marketing team to influence activation planning and portfolio priorities.

  • Seek and develop opportunities to strengthen Philips’ cardiology value proposition for customers in your region by close partnership with adjacent Philips categories such as the One-IGT unique solution offering.

  • Build reference sites, customer testimonials, and clinical proof points that resonate with local audiences. Partner with KOLs and professional societies to strengthen Philips’ position in focus markets.

  • Work under limited supervision and broad guidelines, serving as the primary marketing contact for assigned portfolio areas and focus markets.

  • Define proposals for the mid-term marketing strategy, identifying key market challenges and opportunities early and implementing business plans and goals accordingly.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in downstream marketing, preferably in healthcare, medtech, or related industries.

  • Demonstrated experience managing a broad product and solutions portfolio (not limited to a single category or technology platform).

  • Proven ability to lead dedicated market initiatives – owning the full marketing cycle from strategy to execution within specific geographies.

  • Strong execution skills with the ability to adapt global strategies for local impact.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Knowledge of image-guided therapy, interventional systems, or healthcare technology is a plus.

  • Must be fluent in German and English languages.

  • Willingness to travel 50–60% of time.

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 126,297.80 – € 159,977.21. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you will have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.

This role is eligible for Short Term Incentive, with your rewards linked to individual performance and company results. We will share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.

Benefits include:

  • Annual leave: 30 days

  • Mobility and devices: subsidized Germany ticket, leasing opportunities for private use (bicycles, cars, smartphones, ...)

  • Philips University & Philips in Balance: wide range of professional training courses for personal development and healthcare

  • Philips Pension Fund: employer-funded pension plan

  • Philips Partnerzeit: two paid weeks off after your partner has given birth

  • Philips MyShop: discount on Philips products

  • Culture: informal culture, a paid day for voluntary work, various team and cultural activities, etc.
