We’re Airtasker, the services marketplace that helps people get things done. To support our growth, we’ve launched the Business Pioneers program: giving local entrepreneurs Airtasker credit, exposure, and tools to grow their businesses, while creating more work for our community of Taskers.

We’re looking for a proactive, self-starting Business Marketing Executive to launch and grow our new B2B program. In this role, you’ll be responsible for prospecting, engaging, and onboarding small businesses and entrepreneurs onto the Airtasker platform across the UK.

You’ll drive success by equipping these businesses with Airtasker credit, tools, and tailored onboarding support to help them get the most out of the platform. From there, you’ll transform their experiences into compelling case studies and success stories, amplifying them across Airtasker’s social channels to inspire and attract even more businesses.

What you'll do:
  • Identify businesses in specific cities (Birmingham & Manchester) and industries (landlords, retailers, hospitality, wellness, trades etc.) who would benefit from using Airtasker

  • Pitch Airtasker (either 1 to 1 or 1 to many) by inviting businesses to join the Pioneers Program and potentially collaborate on content (e.g., case studies, social inclusion, etc.) in return for Airtasker credits and exposure

  • Onboard businesses ensuring that they understand how the Airtasker platform works (i.e. how to post tasks and use their Airtasker credits) and are set up for success

  • Spot and amplify success stories, developing them into engaging case studies and social content in partnership with our social and PR teams

  • Partner with business networks such as directories, chambers of commerce, and co-working spaces to expand your reach and promote Airtasker to a wider business audience

  • Track performance reporting results (pipeline of new businesses, #onboarded, GMV contribution etc.) weekly to the UK General Manager

We'd love to hear from you if you tick some of these boxes:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, business development or partnerships

  • Confident, proactive, and comfortable speaking 1:1 with small business owners

  • Organised, persistent, have hustle and are natural at follow-up

  • Can tell a great story and know how to turn everyday wins into compelling content

BONUS POINTS FOR

  • Prior experience with a two-sided marketplace

  • Existing network of business and entrepreneur contacts

  • Understand the pain points and operations of an SMB

  • Have experience running events, workshops, or local marketing campaigns

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • 9 month initial contract with potential to transition into full time role

  • 3 days per week in a central London co-working space, rest WFH

  • Regular travel to Manchester and / or Birmingham to meet with businesses
