The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 6%. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package of medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, 401k with company match, employee purchase program and paid time off. If you are hired at Winebow, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
This position will be based in our Benicia, CA office location. In office days are Monday through Friday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Acts as the primary contact for all Zephyr customers; Maintains and regularly evaluates accounts.
- Proactively works to engage new business.
- Provide strong leadership and management in all processes.
- Manage the day to day workflow of the department, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency and a high level of customer service is maintained.
- Manage clerical staff and other employees.
- Design work schedules and organize employee training.
- Work with outside vendors to maintain necessary business supplies.
- Maintain a good working relationship with executives and other managers; works closely with the Regional Director of Operations to ensure strong communication of expected volumes and major variances.
- Design and implement procedures to improve profitability.
- Develop annual operating budget, process all accounts payable invoices, and manage all operating expenses. Review financial reports to ensure accuracy of facility expenses.
- Complete all administrative tasks as needed, timely and accurately.
- All other tasks as assigned by manager or Operations leadership team.
- Responsible for all third-party inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Operate material handling equipment including but not limited to Sit-Down forklifts, Stand-up forklifts, Stock-pickers, and electric pallet jacks as needed.
- Attends departmental meetings and functions.
- Arrives to work, meetings, appointments and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
- Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
- Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
Normal office and warehouse environment. May be subjected to loud noise, temperature and weather extremes, occasional overtime and travel may be required as per the business needs.
Equipment/Machinery Used:
Office equipment including telephone, fax machine, copier, computer, calculator, and printer.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, sitting, driving, standing, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field or High School diploma with a minimum of five (5) years in Distribution Operations.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising/managing a warehouse and transportation team and facility.
- Demonstrated intermediate computer skills in both Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including but not limited to Sit-Down forklifts, Stand-up forklifts, Stock-pickers, and electric pallet jacks is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, has strong attention to detail, and proven ability to prioritize effective and efficiently.
- Valid Driver’s License.
