We're looking for an ambitious, organised and highly motivated Business Manager to provide high-quality support to our People & Strategy Director.

Job Description

Your purpose in the role

As Business Manager, you will have responsibility for providing high quality support to a functional Director, with this vacancy aligned to the People & Strategy Director.

You will proactively manage multi-channel executive support and act as a thought partner on functional priorities, reporting and governance. You will engage across the People & Strategy Leadership Team in support of department deliverables and support the wider Executive Office as required.

This is a varied and exciting role and would suit an ambitious individual looking to deliver a meaningful impact to the organisation and build knowledge, capability and credentials for future career progression.

Qualifications

What you'll be doing

  • Managing the Director's diary, inbox and priorities, adapting quickly as business needs change.
  • Driving actions and follow-up across leadership and governance meetings.
  • Supporting the People & Strategy Leadership Team with agendas, papers, minutes, actions and decision tracking.
  • Analysing information and presenting insights to support decision-making.
  • Preparing briefings, reports, and correspondence that require discretion and sound judgement.
  • Creating internal communications and supporting global communication plans.
  • Building strong relationships across the Executive Office, the People & Strategy function, and the wider organisation.
