Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven licensing professional with strong experience in the fashion industry, who deeply understands the needs, trends, and pain points of fashion brands.

This role will focus on building strategic partnerships with licensees and key fashion clients, leveraging Disney’s IP and licensing solutions to drive mutual business success and long-term value creation.

Principal Responsibilities

Strategic & Client Partnership Management

  • Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with fashion brands and licensees
  • Act as a trusted partner by understanding clients’ business needs, challenges, and growth opportunities
  • Utilize Disney’s IP and licensing capabilities to deliver tailored solutions that enhance partners’ commercial success
  • Drive strategic partnerships that go beyond transactional licensing to long-term collaboration

Category & Business Management

  • Implement regional category strategies and develop localized market plans aligned with business priorities
  • Own and deliver annual revenue targets and category growth objectives
  • Identify opportunities across products, franchises, channels, and pricing strategies to expand market share
  • Proactively identify and onboard new licensees with strong strategic fit

Market & Industry Insights

  • Leverage deep understanding of the fashion industry ecosystem to anticipate trends and shifts
  • Provide insights on consumer behavior, brand positioning, and competitive landscape
  • Translate industry knowledge into actionable licensing and partnership strategies

Retail & Commercial Execution

  • Collaborate with key retail partners to optimize product assortment, positioning, and in-store presence
  • Drive opportunities with buyers and retailers through tailored programs and partnerships
  • Ensure strong execution at retail through effective merchandising and storytelling

Product & Creative Collaboration

  • Partner with product development teams and licensees to ensure strong product-market fit
  • Guide product strategy using both market trends and Disney franchise strengths
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and brand integrity

Financial & Operational Management

  • Own category budgeting, forecasting, and revenue performance
  • Monitor licensee performance and drive accountability against targets
  • Ensure compliance with Disney standards, contracts, and policies

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Retail, and Sales teams to develop integrated campaigns
  • Support initiatives that strengthen brand presence and consumer engagement
