  • Resident Experience – Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, resolve issues promptly, and lead retention efforts including renewal outreach, satisfaction surveys, and online reputation management.
  • Financial Performance – Manage rent collection, deposits, and delinquency, contribute to monthly budget-variance reporting, and give leadership weekly leasing and occupancy updates.
  • Property Condition – Oversee maintenance requests and builder-warranty claims, and conduct regular inspections to keep the community clean, safe, and beautiful.
  • Marketing & Occupancy Strategy – Develop and execute leasing and marketing strategies, including online listings, referrals, and local outreach, and provide input on pricing and concessions as the property matures.
  • Team & Vendor Leadership – Hire, train, schedule, and coach on-site leasing and maintenance staff, and manage vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Compliance & Reporting – Ensure adherence to fair housing, landlord-tenant, and OSHA regulations, and maintain accurate property records.
  • Community Engagement – Plan and lead resident events, referral programs, and renewal appreciation initiatives that build a true sense of community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and holding staff accountable.
  • Budget and financial-reporting literacy, plus vendor and contract management experience.
  • Strong communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills, with the confidence to make day-to-day decisions independently.
  • Working knowledge of fair housing laws and residential lease agreements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with property management software (ResMan, Yardi, Entrata, or similar).
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
