Job Summary: The role is a Project Manager / Business Manager role and will focus on the planning, implementation and on-going support of programs that meet strategic and business demands. The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business, ensuring that all departments are running smoothly and efficiently. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, human resources, and operational oversight globally. The Business Manager will work closely with senior management to develop and implement business strategies, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set long-term objectives and OKRs.

Human Resources and Finance Management:

  • Develop a hiring strategy in collaboration with management.
  • Partner with HR and Hiring Managers to recruit and onboard new employees.
  • Prepare and manage team budgets.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners across multiple regions.

Project Management:

  • Work with the business and key project stakeholders to define and document business operating models and requirements.
  • Partner with Technology to ensure requirements are implemented as per specification.
  • Perform data analysis and definition of target operating models and processes.
  • Ensure a full audit trail of project deliverables is available for all undertaken tasks.
  • Escalate key risks and issues in a timely manner and through the appropriate formal governance.
  • Manage regular updates to management on project and project deliverables status.
  • Embrace new project methodologies (Design thinking) and technical solutions.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage vendor products for optimum solutioning of problems.


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7-8 years of proven experience in similar role.
  • Proven record and experience in managing project
  • Familiarity with a global bank's process & operational environment. Strong business knowledge i.e. Investment Banking, Retail & Commercial business including product, process and system knowledge.
  • Experienced in consulting with project stakeholders, including the skills to facilitate compromises and resolve conflicting requirements. Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, a client service philosophy, and the ability to build and foster internal relationships
  • Must be confident and experienced and also be able to interact at senior / middle management level
  • Good project/programme management experience in operations environment. Might perhaps have experience managing large location strategy initiatives or programmes.
