Finkraft.ai is an AI-first financial-automation company. We take the messiest layer of enterprise travel and tax — invoices, entity identities and indirect-tax recovery — and turn it into clean, compliant, recoverable data for large corporates and the travel ecosystems that serve them. We are now opening a new chapter: building the operating layer for hospitality e-invoicing and cross-border VAT recovery across the UAE and the wider GCC.

Why this role exists

The UAE’s e-invoicing mandate has made hospitality the hardest vertical in the market — and the most valuable.

Hotel and travel invoices fail more than any other category: split folios, deposit treatment, TRN mismatches, duplicate bookings. At the same time, corporates write off real money in recoverable VAT every year. We are building the layer that sits above accredited e-invoicing rails to fix these invoices before they fail — and to recover the VAT that would otherwise be lost. We are looking for a founding business leader to own this end to end: from strategy and product direction to signed partnerships and live, recurring revenue.

The shape of the role

Where you’ll be. This is a role you’ll build on the ground in Dubai. We expect you in-market — close to hotels, partners, corporates and regulators — moving there to grow the business where it lives. This is a build-and-run mandate in the region, not a remote advisory seat.

What you’ll own — roles & responsibilities

  • Own the business. Full commercial ownership of Finkraft’s UAE hospitality e-invoicing and VAT-recovery line — the strategy, the priorities, the partnerships and the result. You set the direction and make the calls.

  • Build and grow in-market. Establish Finkraft’s presence in Dubai, build the local team over time, and be the company’s face to hotels, partners, corporates and the regulatory ecosystem across the UAE and GCC.

  • Product direction. Own and ruthlessly scope the roadmap with engineering — decide what gets built, in what sequence, and why. You won’t write the code; you’ll own the bets and the trade-offs.

  • Partnerships. Identify, structure and close the anchor relationship with an accredited e-invoicing provider, plus white-label and channel terms — and own those relationships for the long term.

  • VAT recovery. Shape the inbound and outbound reclaim proposition with senior tax specialists and licensed filing partners, and turn it into the ROI hook that makes hotels and corporates say yes.

  • Go-to-market. Lead the hotel, corporate and travel-management-company motion in the region, drawing on your own network and Finkraft’s existing relationships.

  • Operations, compliance & governance. Stand up the support model, the audit and evidence layer, and data governance to UAE/GCC standards.

The track record we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has done this before — a person who does it, not someone who studies it. Concretely:

  • UAE/GCC market experience. You’ve built, run or grown a business, product or practice in the region and understand how this market actually works — its buyers, its rhythms, its regulators.

  • A live regional network. You bring real, warm relationships across hotels, corporates, tax and finance leaders, e-invoicing providers or the travel ecosystem in the UAE and GCC.

  • Commercial ownership. You’ve carried a number before — not just advised on one — and can point to revenue, deals or a business you grew.

  • Domain credibility. You’ve operated in indirect tax, e-invoicing, fintech or travel, and can hold those conversations with depth.

You’ve operated in the region and bring live relationships you can convert into pilots, partnerships and revenue from day one.

Commercial product ownership

You’ve taken a B2B or SaaS product from zero to revenue — not just authored specs. You can walk us through something you shipped and sold.

Indirect-tax / e-invoicing fluency

You can hold a credible conversation on VAT and e-invoicing mechanics and direct deep specialists where needed.

Partnership closing

You’ve structured and signed real commercial deals — rev-share, white-label or channel — with terms, not just logos you ‘managed’.

Execution & ownership

You ship, you cut scope, and you drive outcomes to completion without being chased.

What gives you an edge

  • A Big-4 indirect-tax or tax-transformation background.

  • Domain depth in hospitality, travel-tech or travel-management companies.

  • Familiarity with Peppol, accredited e-invoicing rails or ASP ecosystems.

  • Experience operating across both India and the UAE/GCC.
