Business Intelligence Specialist

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist who can turn complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

The role sits at the intersection of data analysis, visualization, business understanding, and storytelling.

The ideal candidate is not only technically strong, but can understand business questions, explore data, identify

meaningful patterns, and communicate findings through compelling dashboards, reports, presentations, and data-driven

narratives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business insights.

• Translate business questions and requirements into analytical frameworks and measurable KPIs.

• Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.

• Build clear and compelling data stories that communicate insights to both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc analytical reports, executive summaries, and business presentations.

• Work extensively with Excel and SQL for data analysis, investigation, validation, and reporting.

• Use Python for data analysis, automation, transformation, and advanced analytical tasks.

• Collaborate with product, commercial, data engineering, and business teams to define metrics and analytical

requirements.

• Validate data quality and ensure consistency across dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs.

• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve BI processes.

• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and decision-makers.

• Continuously improve dashboards, reporting frameworks, KPI definitions, and analytical methodologies.

• 4–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a similar role.

• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.

• Advanced Excel skills, including analytical functions, pivot tables, data modeling, and reporting.

• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau and/or Power BI, with the ability to build sophisticated dashboards

and visualizations.

• Good working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.

• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and data storytelling.

• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.

• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into simple, business-friendly narratives.

• Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, business performance analysis, and analytical methodologies.

• Strong attention to data accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large-scale datasets and geospatial or location-based data.

• Experience in real estate, PropTech, financial services, retail, consulting, or other data-intensive industries.

• Experience building executive dashboards and management reporting.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive analytics.

• Experience working in a fast-paced product or technology company.
