We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Solution Lead to support Pharmacy Services Finance within the Business Intelligence, Automation & Advanced Analytics (BIAA) team. In this role, you’ll act as a technical consultant to the CFO organization, helping design and integrate large-scale analytics solutions. You’ll work with project managers, architects, and engineering teams to build data products that are scalable, sustainable, and well‑governed. This is an individual contributor role.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee BI architecture and solutions, ensuring they are simple, scalable, flexible, and sustainable.
- Partner with project managers and business analysts to guide technical decisions and source system choices.
- Help analysts and engineers design broad, cross-functional data models that follow governance standards.
- Provide recommendations on new development to ensure alignment with architecture and best practices.
- Influence teams across Finance, BIAA, and IT to drive proper governance and upstream development.
- Create high-level documentation (operating models, integration maps, etc.) for cross-team alignment.
- Engage early in projects to spot risks, avoid duplication, and evaluate new tools or technologies.
- 7+ years in data/analytics within BI environments.
- 5+ years designing scalable analytics solutions.
- 3+ years creating technical documentation for mixed audiences.
- 3+ years working in enterprise public cloud environments.
- 3+ years experience in a finance team using SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience integrating modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Cloud).
- Master’s degree in a STEM field.
- Experience delivering complex data/analytics initiatives.
- Project team leadership experience.
- Background with Google Cloud architecture.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in agile environments.
- Excellent communication and influence skills.
- Ability to work quickly in ambiguous situations.
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
