Bombora is seeking a motivated and innovative Business Intelligence Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our Product Management and Customer Success departments, with a strong emphasis on leveraging data to drive product decisions and explore cutting-edge AI solutions.

You will…

• Assist in data discovery initiatives by diving deep into diverse datasets to uncover actionable insights 
• Query relevant data from databases, performing analysis using statistical techniques, and clearly communicating findings, observations, and actionable recommendations
• Explore, experiment with, and leverage AI and other advanced analytical techniques to develop innovative solutions for answering complex business questions using data.
• Develop and maintain visually engaging reports and dashboards
• Collaborate on the analysis and onboarding of new and existing data sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility
• Contribute to the documentation of system functionality and requirement definitions, helping to build a clear understanding of our data and product landscape
• Support the Business Intelligence, Product Management, and Customer Success teams by collaborating effectively, taking direction, and proactively contributing to various reporting and data-driven projects                                                 

You are…

• Currently pursuing a BS or BA degree in a related field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, or Business Administration
• Passionate about data and its potential to drive business decisions and innovation
• Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and creative, with a strong desire to learn, experiment, and contribute fresh ideas, particularly in the realm of data discovery and AI
• Enthusiastic about working collaboratively within a team environment
• An excellent problem-solver with strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Able to execute tasks and deliver results with a degree of autonomy and minimal instruction
• An excellent verbal and written communicator, capable of conveying complex data insights to various audiences
• Resourceful, a self-starter, and eager to take initiative on new challenges
• Familiar with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Data Visualization Tools) 

Compensation Package

• The hourly range for this position is $20.00 per hour, working 20 - 30 hours per week in our Reno, Nevada office.  Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
