Business Intelligence Intern

This is a paid internship with the option for students to pursue academic credit depending on their department.

Please be advised that this role is required to be located in the InterWorks headquarters office in Stillwater Oklahoma. Remote work or telecommuting arrangements outside of this jurisdiction are not permissible for this position.

We estimate this role as $15 USD an hour, based on experience and skillset.

What You’ll Do

• Use data visualization tools to tell stories with data
• Promote internal efforts around data-driven decision-making and performance measurement
• Work with key stakeholders for requirement gathering and acceptance criteria
• Provide structured and high-quality content that summarizes trends and flags underlying drivers

• Tableau Software experience (Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server)
• BI & analytics tools (Oracle/Hyperion, Cognos, Qlik or Business Objects)
• Big Data distributions (Cloudera CDH, Hadoop, HBase, Pig, Hive)
• Big Data analytics solutions (HP Vertica, Oracle NoSQ DBL, Hadoop Loader, EXASOL)
• ETL tools (Alteryx, SyncSort, Informatica, Data Stage, SSIS, Pentaho)
