We currently have a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Creation and maintenance of Data Lakehouses, including their cloud infrastructure aspects;
- Adjusting architecture for public cloud, including multi-cloud distribution of data;
- Gathering business requirements, designing ETL processes and data modelling;
- Performance analysis and optimization of the entire flow of data from source systems (frequently on premises) to clients;
- Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes;
- Adaptation of data for use by AI (ontologies, indexation), and intermediate AI usage;
- Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers;
- Provide supporting documentation for governance and compliance purpose.
Requirements
- Master degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years;
- At least 2 years of experience in Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric;
- Good knowledge of data lake & lakehouse design;
- Good knowledge of advanced capabilities of Microsoft Fabric (not just Power BI), and/or Azure Synapse;
- Good knowledge of relational database systems;
- Good knowledge of non-relational database systems, including document stores (ex: CosmosDb, MongoDb);
- Knowledge of Spark notebooks and infrastructure-as-Code and working with version control systems;
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in Cloud based Data Engineering and AI;
- Certification of one of the following Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate,Azure Cloud Solution Architect;
- Knowledge of Generative AI Prompting and either RAG or other agentic memory techniques would be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of Azure Policy,AWS Infrastructure as Code and Machine Learning workflows and services would be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of the English language.
