Discover Impactful Work:This role sits in the APAC Data Engineering and Visualization team. You will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights using Power BI in the APJ region
A day in the Life:- Collaborate with business partners to gather data requirements, analyze data sources, and design dashboards that provide valuable insights.
- Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Build visually appealing and interactive Power BI dashboards that enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Monitor and optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and data refresh efficiency.
- Collaborate with data governance to implement standard processes to maintain data quality and security.
- Maintain detailed documentation of Power BI solutions, data models, and processes for operational support and compliance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior developers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer/BI Engineer, with proven expertise in complex data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Strong expertise in SQL (optimization, stored procedures, indexing, query tuning)
- Understanding of Databricks and AWS technologies –Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2 etc.
- Advanced Power BI expertise – row-level security, paginated reports, dataflows, composite models, deployment pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and collaborative environment.
