About this Opportunity:
As a Data Analyst II, you will enable a data driven decision-making culture by providing insights at the point of decision. Through exploratory analysis and deep understanding of the business, analysts ensure critical descriptive, and leading indicators are available to decision makers within their workflows. As new business questions arise, they can work with leadership and team quickly analyze the available data and present initial and additional research needs. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
For External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Berwyn, PA; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KY; Chandler, AZ; or Lehi, UT.
For Internal Candidates:

In this role, you’ll get to:
Work with limited supervision and take end to end ownership of assignments
Gather requirements, work with stakeholders to identify problem statement and fully scope it out
Visualize the data in a way that is intuitive and meets stakeholder requirements
Document code and business logic, clearly communicating data analysis assumptions
Socialize results across the organization, summarize and interpret results
Familiarize yourself with the underlying data, so you can proactively identify business problems and opportunities
Collaborate with development on additional data needs and quality issues
Use SQL and other technologies to extract data from different backend systems
Develop rich interactive visualizations, integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
Have a bias towards automation, wherever logical do things in an easily repeatable way
Identify data quality issues, including incomplete and inconsistent data
Participate in the data governance efforts and mechanisms
Take complicated problems and build simple frameworks
Assist in problem-solving on related topics between user departments, service departments and vendors
Provide analytics to support near term business needs or to provide key pieces of more sophisticated projects led by others
We’re looking for talent who:
Possess prior experience working within Financial Services industry
Has 2 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst
Has 2 years of experience writing SQL queries
Has 2 years of experience creating dashboards in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc
Demonstrated success in solving business problems through analysis
Possess a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Analytics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or equivalent
Obtain Orion Industry Certification
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$63,899.00 - $95,151.00The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, Orion offers a competitive benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, and disability coverage on day one, 401(k) plan with employer match, paid parental leave, pet benefits including pawternity leave and pet insurance, student loan repayment and more.
