Job Description

Title: Business Intelligence(BI) Engineer & Insights Lead

The Opportunity

Seeking an expert Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer & Insights Lead to partner with customers, partners, and team members. You will be responsible for crafting data models, developing dashboards, and delivering actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

What You Will Do

• Architect and design end-to-end BI solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports, to meet business requirements and drive actionable insights
• Own the design and development of scalable, high-performance enterprise data models optimized for reporting and analytics, ensuring seamless data flow and the delivery of accurate insights.
• Work closely with geographically distributed quality engineers, product management, user experience designers to deliver the requirements.
• Be a mentor and role model for junior BI Analysts.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of overall experience in data and analytics or related fields.
• 4+ years of experience in developing and deploying data pipelines, preferably in the cloud (Azure, AWS, or Databricks is a plus).
• Proficiency in Power BI with advanced knowledge of SQL and PySpark for data manipulation and transformation.
• Experience in data modeling for analytics and reporting purposes that can be demonstrated.
• Solid grasp of data visualization principles and standard methodologies.
• Outstanding analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data extraction tools, and reporting technologies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation and analysis.
