Job Summary:

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and transforming data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making at HBK. Drawing upon your extensive expertise in Business Intelligence, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced data solutions and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that leverages our data assets to meet the organization’s analytical needs and objectives.
  • Advanced Analytics: Apply advanced statistical and predictive analytics techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights in data, enabling more informed decision-making.
  • Reporting Excellence: Lead the design and maintenance of sophisticated, interactive reports and dashboards using modern business intelligence and data visualization platforms (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or similar tools). Create highly visual and intuitive data visualizations for use by business stakeholders.
  • Data Integration and Governance: Oversee the integration of data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and adherence to data governance policies. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously enhance the performance of our systems, including optimizing data processing and reporting capabilities.
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Work closely with business leaders to understand their analytical needs and translate these requirements into actionable data solutions.
  • Data Modeling Expertise: Design and implement complex data models to facilitate advanced reporting and analytics, encompassing both logical and physical data models.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Ensure strict data security and compliance with internal policies and industry regulations throughout all data handling and reporting activities.
  • Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and training to other analysts and end-users, fostering self-service analytics adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst.
  • In-depth expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in business intelligence and data analytics.
