Cape is America’s privacy-first mobile carrier. Our mission is to be a force for good in global wireless. Cape was founded in 2022 by people who believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a luxury to be traded away. Our journey began when our founder recognized a critical vulnerability in our modern world: everyone relies on the same stagnant cellular infrastructure and legacy systems that track our every movement, monitor and profile our connections, and lose and sell our personal data.
Instead of accepting the status quo, we decided to fix it. National security professionals, journalists, parents, and everyone in between can stay connected and have privacy.
We didn’t just build a layer on top of old tech; we built America’s most private and secure mobile carrier from the ground up. By building our own network from scratch, we are able to design and build a suite of privacy and security features that no other carrier on the planet can offer.
Today, Cape provides our secure network to consumers, businesses, and government agencies alike. We closed our Series C in March 2026, and we are scaling rapidly, with the goal of giving people back control of their most personal information.
The TeamAt Cape, we are the architects of a privacy-centric movement that is just getting started. We are relentless builders, constantly innovating at the edge of what's possible in telecommunications. We operate on a foundation of high trust and high expectations. Our structure is flat, and collaboration matters more than hierarchy. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with world-class engineers, architects, and visionaries, and work across organizational lines to solve "impossible" problems and deliver mission-critical results for our users every single day.
The Role (also the Mission)
You will be the analytical engine behind Cape's biggest consumer business decisions — pairing rigorous market research with sharp business intelligence to tell us what customers want, what they'll pay, and what it means for the bottom line. You'll design the studies that surface the "why" behind customer behavior and build the models that translate those insights into pricing, budgets, and margin plans leaders can act on. The ideal candidate is equally at home fielding a survey and building a P&L, and can carry a finding all the way from raw data to a recommendation in front of the executive team. This role reports to our Head of Consumer Growth.
In this role you will:
Metrics: Define and develop business-unit metrics and associated dashboards that quantify the health of our business. This may require you to implement and optimize the internal systems to track those metrics.
Insights: Dig into data, both quantitative and qualitative, to deliver strategic and actionable insights on topics like willingness-to-pay, feature trade-offs, and optimal plans structure and tiering. You’re as comfortable writing an SQL query as you are getting on a call with a customer to conduct a user interview.
Planning: You will build financial models and projections, appropriately benchmarked with well-founded and sourced assumptions, and track progress towards and deviation from goal. You can model the ROI of individual investment decisions, sizing the upside, framing the risk, and pressure-testing assumptions.
Are you the candidate we are looking for? (Requirements for the role) You have:
4+ years of consulting, banking, investing, or business intelligence or market research experience
Strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and models, and you are able to quickly execute analyses in Excel or SQL. We will test you on this. You must feel comfortable with statistical tools and running methodologically sound surveys. Prior experience running brand surveys and creative testing is a plus.
Fluency with tools and using AI to work faster and smarter with data, and the judgement to know when the output is right and when it looks off.
Ability to present findings and recommendations to a senior leadership audience, fielding challenges and incorporating feedback.
Structured and logical thinker with the ability to quickly get up to speed on new industries, products, and challenges.
Self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don’t need someone to tell you to “move”. You just move. We’d rather have to tell you to slow down than to speed up.
