The Role

JOB TITLE:                                       Business Intelligence Analyst


RESPONSIBLE TO:                        Head of PIVOT Operations

MAIN LOCATION:                         Jordan, Amman

Objective:

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic business decision-making. This role transforms raw data into evidence-based insights that inform organisational strategy, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences.


This role involves gathering, analysing, and interpreting complex data, developing business intelligence solutions (reporting dashboards, data visualisations and analytics), and presenting findings to stakeholders across the organisation. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with business units to identify trends, forecast outcomes for the investment portfolio, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


Commercial & Strategic Priorities


·        Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

·        Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and visualisations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

·        Analyse business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth or improvement.

·        Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

·        Understand business needs and ensure data assets align with analytical use cases.

·        Prepare and present clear, concise reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

·        Support data-driven decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on robust analysis.

·        Drive metrics driven analysis, understand metrics required, data required and establish workflow and dataset solutions.

·        Update or extend existing datasets based on stakeholder requests and evolving requirements.

·        Monitor and maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with organisational policies.

·        Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance and best practices.

·        Identify and execute automation and AI opportunities.

·        Actively participate in team activities, share knowledge and support one another.


 

Financial (e.g., budget expenditure, revenue, lending authority, profit targets etc.)


·        Maintaining Budget Expenditure (Efficient databases, tooling usage/costs etc.)

·        Implementing new data collection techniques and streamlining or automating existing data collection techniques.

·        Ensuring that data collection techniques satisfy privacy laws and government regulations.

·        Understands and develops with and for stakeholder's key metrics and measures to best enable and execute, and achieve key outcomes for the enterprise

Leadership Accountabilities


  • Work collaboratively with immediate team, business units, enterprise services/ IT and other analytics teams to build and maintain analytical assets such as segmentation models, propensity models, infographic assets, analytical data sets and data comprehension catalogues within defined data governance practices.
