The NASA AEGIS program at Leidos is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst!
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an automation background who is ready to make a difference on the NASA AEGIS Program. This program supports NASA’s network services with the OCIO as primary customer; however, we work with NASA mission customers as well. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support the program management office with the goal to implement Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools into our program management teams. Work with business partners to collect requirements and develop reporting solutions to meet those needs, focused on automation and transformation. Create and maintain a live reporting environment utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform environment providing real time metrics to executive, division, and program leadership. You will have an opportunity to collaborate closely with senior managers who lead our finance, procurement, subcontracts, contracts, resource management, logistics and other team functional organizations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with program stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, configure and deploy Power Apps applications to support data entry and user interactions based on business requirements.
Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI.
Perform data integration and manipulation tasks using connectors and APIs.
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Power Platform solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of Power Platform tools.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and evaluate their applicability to business needs.
Maintain documentation of solutions, processes, and best practices.
Please Note: One must work onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology and/or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Masters degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience maybe considered/accepted in lieu of degree .
1-3 years of Power BI report developer experience; experience setting up Power BI workspaces and apps.
1 year of experience building and deploying Power App solutions including Power App, Power Automate and Power BI components.
Hands on experience with Oracle and SQL Server and writing SQL statements.
Experience supporting data analytics/data modeling projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Developer, Power Platform Fundamentals) is a plus.
US Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance / LOC 40.
Please Note: The program budget salary for this role could fall anywhere between $70,000 to $80,000 with a slight wiggle room (no guarantees) based on relevant experience and assessment. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
