Benzinga is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team. As a key member of the Data Science team, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. This role is pivotal in supporting the team in our mission to provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial news and data to our clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools.
● Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy and decision-making.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, product, marketing, and sales, to understand their data needs and deliver customized solutions.
● Conduct data quality checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure the integrity and reliability of reports and dashboards.
● Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
● Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience. A master’s degree is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or similar role.
- Experience with Looker Studio, Tableau, Power Bi or other data visualization tools
- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
- Experience with Data warehouses & databases
Preferred Experience:
- Google Cloud Platform or AWS Experience
- Experience using Segment or a similar CDP tool
- Exposure to web application, marketing, or advertising data
- Experience in the financial services or media industry
