Job Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for supporting business intelligence administration and execution against the roadmap in close alignment with departmental business requirements, company leadership, and key business stakeholders. This position will be a corporate IS resource in Mexicali with a focus on report design, development, testing and implementation in accordance with specifications provided. This position will execute on tasks assigned by the IS Business Intelligence Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Executes on design, development, testing, and support of IS business intelligence systems which provide efficiencies and competitive advantages for the company.
- Individually contributes by developing reports, in consideration of available and viable solutions, and providing actionable report deliverables.
- Creates and maintain ETL packages using MS solutions (i.e. MS Visual Studio).
- Responsible for the creation and deployment of systematic notifications to internal and external users.
- Accountable for customer satisfaction through close collaboration with IS Development Lead, and IS teams and resources (Projects, Analysis, Development, and Database), based on assigned tasks, to ensure business needs are met.
- Individually monitors progress towards project and task completion, provides updates to IS Development Lead, as necessary.
- Complies with Masimo and IS department policies and practices.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least five years as a SAP Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst in a business environment
- Subject matter expertise with excellent knowledge and understanding of how existing BI toolset and data work with back-end systems (ERP System, Data warehouse, etc.)
- Previous hands-on report development and support for key business intelligence applications, preferably SAP Business Objects and the respective toolset (Web Intelligence, Explorer, Dashboard, Crystal, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to adapt and prioritize assigned tasks, based on changing priority environment.
- Experience working on high level and complex operational projects supporting the lead
- Ability to perform business needs analyses and design reports per report definitions and metrics to support informed business decisions.
- Highly analytical and excellent problem solving skills, with excellent customer service orientation and commitment.
- Ability to effectively execute on assigned tasks and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IS experience in a healthcare or medical device related field, preferably
- Global experience supporting business systems & reporting, preferably
- International and Medical Device industry experience preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field preferred
