Overview

The Myriad Technology organization is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst II, passionate about partnering with team members and stakeholders to deliver business results through data analysis and the facilitation of insights supporting essential business functions. The position will help stakeholders with data literacy, self-service, and data accessibility while up-leveling analytical capabilities of citizen or embedded analyst team members. This is considered a junior position on the team, and the ideal candidate will be inquisitive, proactive, and eager to learn all aspects of the role. The ideal candidate will join us already possessing the skills to nurture lasting and positive relationships with key decision-makers and functional partners within our stakeholder groups.

The Business Intelligence Analyst II is a crucial role in our technology organization and functional groups, driving data literacy and analytical capabilities within our functional stakeholder groups. The education and upskilling of individuals the position interacts with daily will allow the organization to leverage our data as a key strategic asset.

Responsibility
  1. Outline and facilitate the collection of key data sources needed to drive business insights and direction.
  2. Champion self-service capabilities within the citizen (functional embedded) analyst’s teams.
  3. Deliver prototype and initial cuts of analytics as examples to embedded analyst individuals.
  4. Assist in the analysis of information to understand various trends and related opportunities.
  5. Interpret reporting results and assist in the creation of action plans to drive business objectives.
  6. Drive the creation and administration of Common Definitions leading to accuracy and trust of reporting.
  7. Support the leadership team in leveraging reporting to drive business objectives.
  8. Translate technical and functional user requirements into value driven solutions between technical and non-technical teams.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, science, business administration, or related field required.
  2. 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, operations support, finance, consulting, or equivalent work.
  3. 1+ years preferred experience with business intelligence and analytics tools (SQL, Snowflake, Looker, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  4. Understanding of Data Analysis in relation to Business Process modeling.
  5. Excellent communicator with superior written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Stakeholder management experience. Comfortable presenting to individual contributors within your function and management.
  7. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks, manage time and organize effectively, work under tight timelines, and communicate effectively.
