Business Intelligence Analyst I, II, III, Senior

What You Will Do 

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results. 

• Build a connection between business and technical teams to develop insight that drives better decisions. 

• Support internal customers with a variety of complex queries and analytical tasks. 

• Integrate data from multiple sources to create unified, accurate datasets. 

• Work closely with internal customers to provide analysis support, guidance, and instruction. 

• Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytical initiatives. 

• Test complex queries and audit data extracts to ensure accuracy and alignment with requirements. 

• Comply with defined policies, including scope definition, coding and query standards, QA processes, and data verification policies. 

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience. 

• Ability to use software tools to gather, extract, and analyze data. 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly. 

• Strong organization and presentation skills. 

• Excellent planning and execution with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

• Experience using SQL. 

• Ability to work as part of a team. 

• Understanding of business terms, business processes, and data systems. 

• Ability to perform statistical analysis in Excel or similar tools. 

For positions at level II, we require: 

• Work experience using data extraction tools, analytics software, or statistical tools. 

• Ability to perform semi-complex data analysis. 

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team. 

• Ability to understand both front-end and back-end data environments. 

• Proven capability to work independently with creativity, ownership, and accountability. 

For positions at level III, we require: 

• Three or more years of direct experience using analytics software. 

• Fluency with data extraction tools. 

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team and lead when needed. 

• Excellent judgment in presenting data and insights. 

• Ability to perform advanced analysis and advise internal customers using results. 

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how data impacts business success. 

• Ability to design and build algorithms, reports, and dashboards that meet business requirements. 

• Proven track record of independent problem-solving, ownership, and accountability. 

For Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, we require: 

• Five or more years of direct experience using analytics software. 

• Fluency with data extraction tools and advanced analytical techniques. 

• Effective team leadership and strong collaboration skills. 

• Recognized subject-matter expertise among peers and customers. 

• Extensive knowledge of business operations and systems. 

• Ability to perform complex analysis and advise leadership using insights. 

• Expert judgment in presenting data and information. 

• Experience collecting and documenting requirements for data analysis, algorithms, and dashboards. 

• Ability to develop detailed analytics products that meet or exceed business requirements. 

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with creativity, ownership, and accountability. 

We will give special consideration to candidates who have: 

• PhD or Master’s degree in a related field. 

• High proficiency using SQL. 

• Skill with reporting and visualization platforms. 

• Experience using R, Stata, SPSS, or similar statistical tools. 

• Knowledge of Python or programming languages used for analytics. 

• Experience building machine learning models. 

• At least two years of relevant technical experience or four years of related experience.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
