Job Summary
Valeo Internal Automotive Software Egypt is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights. This role will play a crucial part in supporting strategic decision-making and optimizing business performance within our dynamic automotive software environment.
Job Responsibilities
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for:
* Designing, developing, and maintaining robust Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, to support various business units.
* Performing in-depth Data Analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets, providing clear and concise interpretations to stakeholders.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
* Assisting in the management and optimization of Database Management systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of Data Governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and compliance.
* Conducting Data Mining activities to uncover hidden insights and opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
* Developing and maintaining Data Modeling structures to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis.
* Applying Data Science techniques and methodologies to solve complex business problems and predict future outcomes.
* Creating compelling Data Visualization to effectively communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Participating in the design, development, and maintenance of Data Warehousing (DW) solutions to support enterprise-wide reporting and analysis.
* Writing and optimizing Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
* Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
* Strong proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
* Expertise in Data Analysis and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
* Solid understanding of Database Management principles and practices.
* Familiarity with Data Governance best practices.
* Experience with Data Mining techniques and tools.
* Proficiency in Data Modeling concepts and methodologies.
* Basic understanding of Data Science principles and applications.
* Excellent skills in Data Visualization and storytelling with data.
* Experience with Data Warehousing (DW) concepts and technologies.
* Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) for data manipulation and querying.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
