Business Finance Analyst

Summary

Amadeus is looking for a Financial Reporting & Analysis Specialist to join our Finance organization and drive accurate, insightful reporting that supports business decision-making. In this role, you will prepare monthly financial results, lead analysis on key cost areas, support planning and forecasting processes, and act as a trusted business partner across Finance, Commercial and Hospitality stakeholders. You will also play a key role in Finance's digital transformation, developing automated dashboards and leveraging AI tools to modernize reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee accurate, timely reporting of monthly financial results, KPIs and legal entity information, ensuring consistency across all reporting tools and systems.

• Lead analysis and communications on HOS-Advertising Fixed Costs, and support Gross Margin analysis, variance investigation and long-range planning exercises.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering ad-hoc reports and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Manage month-end closing activities and lead estimation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Amadeus Group policies.

• Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, advanced Excel and AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) to streamline financial analysis and forecasting.

• Drive Finance transformation by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize and automate processes, and by sharing knowledge and best practices across the Finance community.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in financial reporting, planning or business analysis, ideally within a multinational or matrixed organization.

• Solid understanding of P&L, Gross Margin analysis, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

• Proven experience developing dashboards and automated reporting using Power BI and advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot).

• Comfortable working with AI-powered tools and exploring new technologies to improve financial processes.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to act as a trusted partner to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Proactive, curious and results-driven, with a genuine interest in continuous learning and process improvement.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
