Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Senior Manager within the Customer Reference Data Strategy, Execution and Operations team. This role will report to the Head of Data Domain, Design & Build and will lead a team of managers within Operations, focusing on data quality across Know-Your-Customer (KYC) domains. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with enterprise data management standards, regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and control.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Managers fostering a culture of accountability and talent development.
- Ensure successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility.
- Oversee operational processes across key client reference data quality initiatives.
- Engage functional leaders to secure resources, influence outcomes, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo policies and business objectives.
- Interpret procedures and processes to strategize and execute programs, services, and initiatives significant in scope, complexity, and risk.
- Identify potential risks when implementing change and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to BSA/AML standards, CIP, and CDD requirements across all operational pillars.
- Drive compliance with data governance frameworks and tools to maintain data quality, security, and regulatory alignment.
- Lead enterprise-wide data quality initiatives, including remediation of discrepancies and enhancement of controls.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and governance teams to ensure robust data management practices.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, business groups, and remediation teams to drive strategic initiatives.
- 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 3+ years Management or leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-wide data quality initiatives, specifically within Know-Your-Customer (KYC) domains, including the development and execution of continuous improvement strategies that enhance controls, align with enterprise data management standards, and drive sustainable operational efficiencies.
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with data engineering, analytics, governance, operations, and business leadership. Strong understanding of data analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of data warehousing,data lakes,anddata modeling principles.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and tools to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Proficiency in people management and development, with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
- Experience in running large, cross-functional operations teams, ensuring alignment across multiple business groups and driving operational excellence.
- Prior experience working in a financial services banking capacity with a well-rounded understanding of various banking areas/functions including operational risk management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to clearly convey information, build rapport, and manage expectations with senior leaders, business groups, and remediation teams.
- Excellent organizational and process improvement skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver on commitments.
- Proven self-motivated and comfortable operating in large transformational programs as part of collaborative teams.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
- Adherence to in-office attendance expectations.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
