You will establish, lead, and operate a centralized Technology Change Management Command Center, providing enterprise-wide oversight of the technology change portfolio. This role serves as the primary authority for change planning, scheduling, prioritization, dependency management, escalation, and execution governance across the organization.
Responsible for both near-term execution readiness and long-range change planning, this leader ensures technology changes are effectively assessed, coordinated, communicated, and executed to enable safe, predictable, and efficient delivery of business and technology outcomes.
As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the C-suite, and Board stakeholders, this role provides strategic guidance on change governance, operational readiness, enterprise risk, critical dependencies, and transformation initiatives. The leader continuously evaluates business, technology, cyber, regulatory, and external factors that may impact the change landscape and provides actionable insights to support executive decision-making.
This role ensures adherence to risk management, regulatory, and operational control standards while advancing change management capabilities through automation, AI-driven insights, and modern governance practices.
Serving as the central connector across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Technology Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams, this leader provides a single enterprise view of change activity, emerging risks, critical dependencies, and executive intervention needs. Additionally, this role builds and develops a high-performing organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Success in this role enables faster, safer change delivery, strengthens operational resilience, reduces execution risk, and supports enterprise transformation at scale.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop multiple business functional areas with focus on implementing and delivering long-term strategies, policies, and process advancements for cross-functional stakeholders, and internal and external partners associated with the area of Business Execution or who are affected by its outcomes
  • Identify Business Execution opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development over the long-term in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency
  • Lead Business Execution team for assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental retooling of perspective, approach, culture, quality, relationships, operations, and capabilities
  • Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo strategies or policies and business line objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Technology Change Management, Enterprise Change Management (ECM), release governance, operational readiness, and enterprise change oversight within complex technology organizations
  • 4+ years of experience leading enterprise Command Center, Control Tower, or Air Traffic Control functions, including executive governance, service performance, escalations, enterprise dashboards, and operational oversight

  • Experience managing enterprise technology portfolios and governance frameworks, including prioritization, dependency management, capacity planning, intake processes, approvals, change calendars, executive reporting, and enterprise-wide change coordination
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Technology Operations, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and business organizations
  • Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex technology, operational, and risk topics into clear recommendations and actionable decisions for senior leadership and governance committees
  • Experience operating within regulatory, risk, and control frameworks, including technology risk management, operational readiness, implementation governance, compliance, and issue remediation
  • Demonstrated ability to establish disciplined change governance that balances delivery velocity, innovation, risk management, accountability, and operational stability
  • Proven track record of driving measurable outcomes through operational excellence, continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and effective execution management
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly complex environments, effectively navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, enterprise dependencies, and large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Strong enterprise mindset with the ability to identify emerging risks, dependencies, and conflicts while balancing strategic objectives and operational priorities
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships across organizations and develop high-performing, inclusive teams through coaching, talent development, succession planning, and leadership growth

      Skills Required
