As part of the centralization of UAT testing strategy, a UAT COE is formed at Wells Fargo India & Philippines. The potential candidates are required to have in-depth understanding of the Retail Banking, Branch Banking and Salesforce CRM with hands-on experience of UAT or QA in their current or previous roles
The potential candidates are required to have strong working knowledge of manual and automation using play write with type script in their current or previous roles
- Key Responsibilities for this Technology Business Systems Associate include but not limited to:
- Test Management:
- Analyze business requirements/user stories
- Define and identify Test Scenarios
- Prepare Test Cases, participate in Internal review of test case & Requirement traceability
- Defect management and tracking
- Strict adherence to timelines and focus on deliverables
- Agile:
- Work in Agile Team and participate in all the Scrum rituals- Daily Stand Up, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Planning & Retrospective.
- Be proactive and provide your insight into user story discussions, refinement calls.
- Test Execution & Reporting:
- Executing tests in UAT environment to support User Acceptance Testing.
- Engage & collaborate with end users as part of End User Testing
- Supporting Production Installs by performing the validations needed to ensure correctness of implemented changes in production.
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met including Company polices /guidelines.
- Provide timely data for Release report, utilization etc. Test Automation:
- Contribute in developing, maintaining and executing the automation scripts in Play Write with Type Script for the implemented changes.
- Creation of test strategy, test plans, test scripts, script execution for MSP
- Participating in BRD and FSD reviews.
- Provide status reporting, defect triage, test summary, testing traceability.
- Conduct meetings and reviews as needed with Operations and other stakeholders.
- Agile testing responsibilities include: grooming sessions, sprint planning and participation, daily SCRUM calls.
- Partner with the Line of Business, Risk/Compliance, and technology partners across Operations
- Understand the existing automation framework and write automation code to automate the test cases
- Consult with users providing advice and direction
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
- Research system features being tested
- Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Overall 3+ years of experience in the Banking industry
- 2+ years of experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines or workflows, version control, test management, and integrating automation frameworks
- 1.5+ years of hands on experience in:
- Automation strategy, framework implementation, planning, scripting and execution
- Creating technology solutions for business and communicating value
- Automation framework (data driven, hybrid and behavior driven development concepts), design and enhancements
- Cucumber/BDD - based frameworks
- Play Write with Type Script
- Selenium with Java - Junit/TestNG framework in Eclipse IDE
- Version control repo like GITHUB and SVN
- Test scheduling and execution on Jenkins, etc.
- Octane, JIRA or a relevant defect management tool
- Software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality thorough the entire software development cycle
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
- Hands on expertise with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, Confluence etc...
- Experience in User Acceptance development & implementation
- Knowledge and understanding of business tools and processes
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
