As a Business engineer on our team, you will help grow the crypto ecosystem by identifying new features, product opportunities, and scalable solutions — enabling users and partner businesses to unlock the full potential of OKX's platform.
Our engineering team is comprised of creative problem solvers and strategic software engineers who collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams. - Understand and apply knowledge of crypto products, blockchain technologies, and market dynamics to deliver solutions at scale
- Independently identify stakeholders and align cross-functional partners toward completion of project goals
- Break down complex engineering projects into executable tasks and partner with all applicable teams
- Design and build end-to-end mobile systems, from architecture to launch strategy
- Ship production-quality code with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with reviewers, with relevant documentation and test coverage
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback; action feedback from reviews of your own code promptly
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders; share project updates and influence decision-making through data-driven insights
- Serve as a subject matter expert within the mobile engineering team and provide consultation on domain-level projects
- Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
- Experience working in fintech, crypto, or Web3 environments
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Ongoing AI skill development — prompt engineering, agent orchestration, staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Proven experience shipping production-quality mobile code (iOS and/or Android)
- Strong proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or React Native
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols, wallet integrations, or on-chain data
- Experience contributing to open source projects or shared code repositories
- Active participation in the developer community (blogs, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.)
- Experience in highly collaborative, fast-paced environments
- Experience adhering to responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation)

- The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $320,000.
- The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
