The Business Engagement Coordinator supports the Business Development team with client and prospect research, event coordination, lead prospecting, and top-of-the-funnel activities. This role involves working closely within a Market or Industry Wipfli subject matter experts to coordinate events and partnering with local leaders for follow-up activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinates lead generation and development of potential prospects through inbound and outbound activities, conduct preliminary research, and promptly follow up on assigned leads for qualification.
- Coordinates handoff meetings with relationship executives or pursuit teams and follows up with associates on their progress with contacts.
- Using industry and offering knowledge, tailors Wipfli's value proposition and capabilities to the individual client's business needs.
- Tracks activities in CRM and completes administrative functions to ensure client records are accurate and up to date.
- Organizes and coordinates regional industry marketing and business development activities, including trade shows, conferences, and promotional events, particularly within the Denver region.
- Mines social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn) for key leads/prospects and monitor industry and regional publications for client/prospect follow-ups/leads.
- Spend three days out of the week in the community or the office to foster relationships and drive business development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or other job related major, or an equivalent level of job-related experience.
- Three+ years of job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Denver and Colorado markets
- Event management and set up a plus
- Experience with CRM and CMS tools.
- Familiarity with digital platforms and social media
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to balance many projects simultaneously
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize of work under pressure, within budget and time deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
- Must possess initiative, resourcefulness, accuracy, persistence, and dependability
- Ability to work in a team environment, maintaining professionalism and a positive, "can-do" attitude in all tasks and assignments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to leverage creative thinking and problem-solving skills

Wipfli supports equal pay for all. In addition, in the State of Colorado, we are committed to equal pay for equal work in accordance with Senate Bill 19-085. The estimated pay range for this position is: $60,000 to $81,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
