Position Summary

The Business Enablement Manager will represent the Business Technology organization as our liaison with the company’s various business units conveying the technology vision and help them take advantage of existing and evolving innovations. The Business Enablement Manager will assist the business partners in the preparation of new technology requests/initiatives while also helping to convey the needs in the language most understandable to technology professionals. This role demands a unique blend of business acumen, technical knowledge, and excellent interpersonal skills to manage various aspects of our technology product line maximizing the benefits of technology and technology enablement in the furtherance of our corporate business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Primary driver for identifying significant near and long-term opportunities in one or more product areas, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategics and goals.

  • Leading the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative technology products.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, ecommerce, merchandising, marketing, and store operations to design and deliver products that align with our company vision and market demand.

  • Use data, analytics, competitive research, user testing and market research to inform roadmap, feature priority, and make recommendations on which new tech/tools to invest in or leverage.

  • Working closely with technical teams to ensure products are built to specifications and launched on time.

  • Broad experience in managing high-risk, high-visibility projects.

  • Partners with Business Enablement Managers across other product lines to ensure an overall cohesive and seamless digital experience.

  • Experience in the retail industry.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • 5+ years Product Management and/or Product Design

  • Extensive experience working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams

  • Comfort in managing relationships with the executive leadership and assuming the voice of diligence.

  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

  • Strong understanding of UX design, user flow and wireframes.

  • Team oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.

  • University degree in the field of computer science or similar and/or 10 years’ equivalent work experience.

  • Extensive experience in one or more of the following: Ecommerce, Payment Solutions, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Point of Sale, or other Digital Retail Experience solutions.

  • Knowledge of the game of golf is a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time as the job is completed primarily at a desk each day. Variable desk heights are offered so alternatively sitting and/or standing at the desk is optional. 

  • Flexibility to work extended and varied hours as needed.

Travel:

  • Up to 10% travel requirements based on business needs.
