The Team You Will Join
The Corporate Treasury Banking and Cash Management Team provides operational support for global treasury services including banking, cash management, technology, cash accounting, user entitlement management, premium collections practices and cash disbursement methods.
The Opportunity
The Business Enablement Team is responsible for ensuring that business processes and technology provide the proper capabilities needed by our organization and MetLife partners. A Business Enablement Consultant is responsible for understanding the processes and technology used across key functions of Treasury Operations and actively assisting to maintain operations as our business landscape continues to transform and change. The Business Enablement Consultant will function as a liaison between individual business and technology teams and help facilitate the changing needs of their processes. A Business Enablement Consultant is actively engaged in the review of process and technology changes, providing consultative guidance on the impact of the proposed changes, managing change implementations and, where applicable, performing analysis and recommending changes that create efficiency, cost savings, or simplify operational process.
Success in this role requires an understanding of key treasury and finance concepts, a foundational understanding of banking services, and basic cash accounting experience. The Business Enablement Consultant is responsible for application change management, accounting oversight and automation, and the implementation of new innovations and technology. You'll collaborate closely with the Financial Management teams, Information Technology resources and other consultative resources across MetLife's global organizations in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
• Banking and financial process acumen including understanding of process and transaction mechanics applied within the scale of a large corporate environment
• Treasury Operations andor Cash Management experience including Treasury Management System experience; specific knowledge of Kyriba preferred
• Project, Process andor Change Management experience
• Knowledge of common project management methodologies; agile, waterfall, etc.
• Experience with MS Office, PeopleSoft, and MS PowerBI; Alteryx and other data analytics and transformational software a plus
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles; accounting and finance experience a plus
