What you will be doing:

  • Lead the business development efforts for the Facilities Management (FM) business, establishing and nurturing relationships with potential customers and service partners, and to identify and develop new and existing business opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while adhering to company policies and ethical practices.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in both public and private tenders, to expand the client base and develop new business opportunities within the FM industry.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Assist in the crafting persuasive value propositions and differentiation strategies that align with client needs and expectations.
  • Actively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Conduct market research to identify target markets, customer preferences, and industry trends, trends, competitive threats, and potential business opportunities in the FM industry.
  • To maintain a professional business relationship with all internal and external stakeholders (e.g., finance department, operations department, external vendors, clients, etc)
  • To conduct business development of Facilities Management (FM) business and relationships with potential customers and service partners, and to identify and develop new and existing business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sustainable growth and profitability for the business.
  • Drive strategic business expansion projects identified together with the Heads of Businesses (HOBs) to help achieve growth.
  • Ensure that business development initiatives are effectively implemented and monitored from conception to implementation.
  • To collaborate with functional departments to generate write-up for effective business proposals
  • Coordinate with business leaders and senior sales staff to enhance our existing market penetration.
  • Conduct business intelligence reviews including market analysis of competitors, industry and market in order to identify trends in Client (inc FM market sectors) and Competitor activities that influence and guide C&W business growth pipeline.
  • Explore and identify new business opportunities in the Singapore market and work with the specific HOBs to map out the strategic growth of each business/service line.
  • Implement business growth strategies with close tracking of business growth activities.
  • Lead and initiate preliminary discussions on business growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to drive strategic business development projects.
  • Lead and identify task force for the strategic business development projects and take charge of due diligence of projects identified.
  • Develop and build relationship with targeted key accounts and business alliances or partners that have presence across the Singapore Market.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and new development in the market.
  • Share business intelligence and the progress of strategic business development projects monthly.
  • Any other duties as assigned whenever required

You are:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Business Management or relevant related discipline from a recognized tertiary institute
  • At least 3 years of relevant experiences in facilities management and business development portfolios
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Good team player
  • Proactive and independent
  • Those with Facilities Management operation experiences or equivalent is an added advantage
  • While your Job Description is defined in your Letter of Offer, you may be required to perform any related duties as required and directed. You shall be required to take accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and outcomes in building up a Safety Culture.
