- Own and grow a pipeline of UK/EU retailers, brands, and private-label buyers, converting prospects into confirmed seasonal order books (booked business value, not just leads).
- Leverage existing retailer relationships to open doors quickly; this role is not built around cold-market entry from zero.
- Lead commercial negotiations on price, MOQs, payment terms, and seasonal calendars in line with company margin targets.
- Build and manage a rolling seasonal business plan (SS/AW/Holiday) with revenue targets by account and by country.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product differentiation, cost structures, capability, and pricing benchmarks across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka manufacturing bases, and advise buyers accordingly.
- Stay current on fabric developments, seasonal trends, and category shifts (fast fashion, basics, sustainable lines) relevant to UK/EU retail.
- Apply a strong eye for product and merchandising detail when reviewing samples, tech packs, or line sheets presented to buyers.
- Work with design/merchandising teams to translate market trend intelligence into sellable line concepts.
- Act as the primary relationship owner for allocated UK/EU accounts — pre-sales through seasonal order confirmation.
- Coordinate internally with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure buyer commitments are deliverable.
- Track account performance, seasonal booking value, and pipeline conversion; report against targets.
- Experience: 15 years plus in apparel/garment export sales, business development, or buying, with a track record of managing UK/EU retail or brand accounts.
- Relationships: Demonstrable, existing relationships with UK/EU retailers — this is a must-have, not a nice-to-have.
- Product Sense: Strong grasp of fabrics, seasonal trends, and garment categories; sharp attention to product detail.
- Commercial Acumen: Comfortable owning a revenue number, negotiating seasonal contracts, and forecasting booked business.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills; comfortable travelling within the UK/EU region and to sourcing hubs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion, Business, or related field; MBA preferred but not mandatory
- Learning Wallet: Enrol in external courses or certifications to upskill—we’ll reimburse the costs to support your development.
- Regular community engagement and team-building activities
- Biannual events to celebrate achievements, foster collaboration, and strengthen our workplace culture
