As The Business Development Representative (BDR) Program is growing at TCP Software, and we are looking for a leader to help us manage and continue to build the team. The BDR team is responsible for handling all inbound (and future outbound) marketing generated lead qualification for the sales organization. In addition to team building, coaching and lead qualification activities, the Team Leader will be the front-line eyes and ears for the organization as we learn about new markets and buyer personas.
As a Business Development- Team Lead you will:
- Develop a high performance BDR team through day-to-day coaching and continuous professional development through: Focus on Meeting/Discovery/Funnel Analysis, Focus on time to first touch and Consistent call and email outreach and KPI attainment
- Develop and implement a Quality Assurance (QA) framework for the team
- Develop and lead coaching and training sessions in response to QA outputs
- Develop call plans and prospecting strategy for BDR team
- Analyze and report on end-to-end marketing funnel
- Lead scrubbing, assignment, and optimization.
- Create, implement, and reinforce training through: Driving weekly 1 on 1s and role play sessions and Weekly team meetings
- Lead hiring and performance management processes.
- Train new hires on CRM, tool stack, and business development process
- Work cross functionally with Marketing and Sales Managers .
You are a strong fit for this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher will be preferred.
- 1+ years of lead/supervisory experience.
- 2+ years of SaaS business development experience.
- Aptitude and passion for learning technical concepts/terms
- Understanding of inbound and outbound business development methodologies and processes
- Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
- Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shift flexibility
- Familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel up to 25%
