The Boston Office
Boston has world-class quantitative and engineering talent, and we want to bring Trexquant there. You'll be instrumental in establishing our presence in Massachusetts, standing up a new office, building a team, and helping make Trexquant a name that top quantitative developers and researchers in the greater Boston area want to join.
What You'll Do
- Drive hiring strategy and execution for quant developers and quant researchers as we build our Boston team
- Lead candidate outreach, interviews, and closing, partnering with our recruiting team in Stamford, CT
- Coordinate the physical and operational buildout of a new Boston office alongside leadership, legal, compliance, operations, and IT
- Represent Trexquant in the Boston market through meetings, events, and direct candidate interactions
- Track and report on hiring activity, office milestones, and expansion progress
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, recruiting, partnerships, consulting, or a related role
Nice-to-Haves
- High ownership mindset; you'll be operating independently and figuring things out as you go
- Familiarity with the Boston business environment and hiring landscape
- Interest in quantitative finance and technical organizations
- Willing to relocate to the Greater Boston Area

The base salary for this role is $150,000 to $175,000, and will be determined based on the candidate’s educational background and professional experience. Base salary is one component of Trexquant’s total compensation package, which may also include a discretionary, performance-based bonus. This role is intended to qualify as exempt from overtime under applicable law based on job duties and salary level.
