Who We Are

TOPOSOPHY is a European placemaking and marketing agency working at the intersection of strategy, culture, and experience. We help cities, regions, and brands connect meaningfully with people — shaping how places look, feel, and thrive.

Our work spans destination strategies, experiential marketing, and high-profile public events across Europe. In Greece, we lead some of the country’s most visible cultural and consumer platforms:

  • DINE Athens Restaurant Week – Greece’s largest culinary event
  • TASTE of Athens – part of the global Taste Festivals network
  • STAY in Athens – a curated hotel and lifestyle campaign
  • New platforms in arts, culture, and design – shaping the next generation of citywide experiences
Alongside this, we partner with tourism boards, cultural institutions, hospitality groups, and major brands to deliver campaigns with international reach and local relevance.
About the Role

We’re hiring a Business Development & Sponsorships Manager to drive the growth and visibility of TOPOSOPHY’s event portfolio as we expand across Greece & Cyprus, the UK, and Ireland.

This role is about more than sales. You’ll be at the heart of building long-term commercial partnerships, shaping tailored sponsorship models, and ensuring that brands, destinations, and cultural partners see real value in working with us. You’ll engage with stakeholders from food and beverage, travel, retail, tech, and culture, negotiating high-impact collaborations and leading their successful activation.

The right candidate will combine business acumen with cultural curiosity — someone who understands both the commercial drivers of sponsorship and the creative value of experiences. You’ll be central to ensuring our city event platform remains financially sustainable, strategically positioned, and internationally relevant.

Key Responsibilities

Sponsorship Strategy & Planning

  • Develop tailored sponsorship packages per event (DINE, TASTE, STAY, etc.)
  • Identify potential partners and build sector-specific outreach pipelines
  • Align partnership proposals with brand positioning, audience reach, and city strategy

Business Development

  • Lead outreach, pitch meetings, negotiations, and closings with sponsors and partners
  • Maintain an updated pipeline and deal tracker across all event concepts
  • Collaborate with CEO and Marketing to align sales approach with campaign timelines

Contracting & Activation

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalise sponsorship agreements (cash and in-kind)
  • Manage sponsor onboarding, brand approvals, and deliverables
  • Oversee smooth delivery of activation elements (e.g. booths, tastings, content, branding)

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Act as lead contact for sponsors, public partners, and trade organisations
  • Coordinate multi-partner campaigns and joint press activity
  • Organise partner briefings, walkthroughs, and wrap-up meetings

Measurement & Reporting

  • Collect and analyse impact metrics, media value, audience data, and KPIs
  • Deliver sponsor reports and post-event presentations
  • Support case study development and long-term partnership proposals

Requirements
  • Strong track record in sales, sponsorship, and business development
  • Ability to translate event assets into brand value
  • Confident in relationship-building with C-level executives, brands, and tourism boards
  • Experience in budget oversight and assessing cost-benefit for deals
  • Familiarity with experiential marketing and event activations
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with event, content, design, and production teams
  • High attention to detail — able to track clauses, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, pitch decks, activation schedules, and Monday.com

Benefits
  • Competitive salary + private health insurance
  • Performance-based bonus scheme linked to sponsorship targets and event delivery
  • Work on the country’s most high-profile events with leading brands
  • Career growth and responsibility in a high-impact team
  • Hybrid model with office/home flexibility
  • Equipment + professional development allowance
