We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role will be based in the Philippines. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Business Development Manager, Employee Benefits, you will focus on generating sales and maintaining a book of business primarily consisting of small, low-risk accounts. You will conduct sales presentations, cold calls, and develop effective sales proposals to expand our client base and ensure high client satisfaction. This role also involves participating in client meetings, maintaining strong account relationships, and continuously developing your professional skills.
We will count on you to:
Conduct sales presentations and maintain a book of business with a high frequency of sales activities.
Perform cold calls using a strong understanding of internal offerings and product solutions to secure sales meetings.
Develop complex and effective sales proposals and presentations for prospective accounts.
Close sales deals by negotiating values and pricing structures that serve both business and client needs.
Conduct thorough due diligence research to identify and understand prospect accounts and sales opportunities.
Maintain account relationships to ensure the business is viewed as a preferred vendor.
What you need to have:
Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in employee benefits or related fields.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to conduct research and due diligence to support sales efforts.
Willingness to participate in sales training and professional development.
