Role Description

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support Concord’s growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients across our clean-energy incentive service lines. This is a full-time role focused on outbound and inbound prospecting, relationship-building, and early-stage deal development.

The BDR will work closely with Concord’s leadership and delivery teams to understand our offerings, target markets, and ideal client profiles. This role is well-suited for someone who is curious, organized, and motivated to build a strong foundation in consultative business development.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research prospective clients across public- and private-sector markets

  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn

  • Respond to inbound inquiries and assess initial fit

  • Qualify prospects and schedule discovery calls for senior team members

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in CRM systems

  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies

  • Stay informed on Concord’s service offerings and target industries

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or a client-facing role (preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable engaging with executives, technical professionals, and public-sector stakeholders

  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail

  • Curious, coachable, and motivated to learn complex subject matter

  • Ability to manage multiple outreach efforts simultaneously

  • Experience with CRM or outbound prospecting tools is a plus

  • Interest in clean energy, infrastructure, or financial incentives is a plus
