Role Description
We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support Concord’s growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients across our clean-energy incentive service lines. This is a full-time role focused on outbound and inbound prospecting, relationship-building, and early-stage deal development.
The BDR will work closely with Concord’s leadership and delivery teams to understand our offerings, target markets, and ideal client profiles. This role is well-suited for someone who is curious, organized, and motivated to build a strong foundation in consultative business development.
Responsibilities
Identify and research prospective clients across public- and private-sector markets
Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
Respond to inbound inquiries and assess initial fit
Qualify prospects and schedule discovery calls for senior team members
Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in CRM systems
Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies
Stay informed on Concord’s service offerings and target industries
Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, or a client-facing role (preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable engaging with executives, technical professionals, and public-sector stakeholders
Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Curious, coachable, and motivated to learn complex subject matter
Ability to manage multiple outreach efforts simultaneously
Experience with CRM or outbound prospecting tools is a plus
Interest in clean energy, infrastructure, or financial incentives is a plus
