Responsibilities:
Drive growth and innovation by identifying opportunities, leading pursuits, and supporting the Ziegler EPG sales team to craft winning proposals.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans, analyze market trends, and identify new opportunities for business growth.
Understand industry trends, capturing customer feedback, creating marketing and sales materials, and supporting regional sales teams
Generate quality leads through cold calling, social selling, and networking at industry events.
Focus on generating new business opportunities for the company
Build and strengthen relationships with key clients and vendors in collaboration with other Ziegler sales representatives
Work with clients to understand their technical challenges and suggest solutions or improvements.
Analyze key markets including data centers, technology manufacturing, and commercial constriction.
Document opportunities and win/loss data along with other business activities
Ongoing collaboration with all divisions within Ziegler and Caterpillar to develop opportunities across multiple business lines.
Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations of Ziegler products or services.
Learn about CAT products, allied products and comparisons against competitive products to offer the best solutions based on customer interests and concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent related experience) preferably in an Engineering discipline or business.
3+ years of technical sales or construction industry experience
Working knowledge of internal combustion engine installations and drivetrains
Analytical skills
Electric Power, Electrician, Generator, or Reciprocating Engine experience desired
Must have and maintain a clean driving record
Personal Attributes: Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, Sociability, Achievement Orientation, forward thinking mindset and strong mechanical aptitude
Travel:
Up to 50% overnight travel
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing.

The total compensation (base plus incentive) for this position is
$133,300.00 to $200,000.00Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, and education. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
